Birth to Three: Parent Education Program

Their mission is to strengthen families and promote the well-being of children through parent education and support. Programs and services include: First 3 Years; Make Parenting a Pleasure; Crecer…to grow up; Teen Parent Program; Parents Again; Parent/Child Adventures; Welcome Baby; Healthy Start at Birth to Three; Parent HelpLine; Children’s Program; Special Events; Playtime for Parents & Children; Open Doors.

Position description:
An intern can work in one of the following areas:
Assist the Parent Educator at groups for parents
Care for children
Do office research projects

Specific skills or experiences needed:
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Time requirements:
A 3-month commitment is required, at least 3 hours per week. Most groups are 9 am-12 pm and 6-9 pm.
Internships are offered fall, winter, spring, and summer terms.
