Position description:
The primary purpose of this internship would be to assist with data collection and analysis of client data, however client contact hours could also be available to meet intern requirements if necessary. This intern position does not currentlypay, however, the student would have access to all available data within the limits of confidentiality and agency policies. The student intern would have access to specialists in the field of doemstic violence intervention that could assist him/her in developing and implementing useful and meaningful research work.
This position would be ideal for a graduate student who is interested i applied research, and/or who needs a thesis or dissertation data set and topic.
Specific skills or experiences needed:
The student should be familiar with the use of SPSS and Microsoft Office products, as well as current domestic violence literature and research methods.
Time requirements:
Hours are flexible with a minimum of four hours per week required. The duration of the internship is indefinite and negotiable to meet the needs of the student.
