Campaign Intern for General Election, Eugene

Position description:

This internship will provide the opportunity to learn how campaigns work at the grassroots level. Interns will work closely with campaign staff and volunteers. Duties and responsibilities may include: recruiting and maintaining contact with volunteers, supervising volunteer phone banks, recruiting lawn sign locations, delivering, maintaining and recovering lawn signs, assisting volunteers with Letters to the Editor, assisting with mailings, database management and office work.

Specific skills or experiences needed:

Highly motivated

Be a self starter

No previous political experience is required

Time requirements:

Hours can be negotiated; evenings and weekends possible.

Internships are offered spring, summer, and fall terms, beginning spring 2004.
