Looking Glass Youth & Family Services Inc.: New Roads

Position description:
New Roads assist homeless youth, ages 16-21, the goal being to help youth who are interested in creating long-term solutions that improve the quality of their lives. NR helps young people on their road to independence. Street teams provide advocacy and support to young people, ages 11-21, on the street, including service referrals, transportation, and crisis intervention.

Specific skills or experiences needed:
Ability to work as a member of a team, including problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work with diverse populations
Willing to work with homeless youth

Time requirements:
Positions require 9 hours per week, with at least a 3-6-month commitment.
Internships are offered fall, winter, and summer terms.
