Cheyenne is a senior studying Sociology and Political Science. This is her second year as a Sociology peer advisor. Cheyenne is most interested in race relations within both domestic and international spheres. She looks forward to helping students with academic planning and her biggest advice for Sociology students would be to always come to class prepared and do the readings!
Anna is a senior who plans to pursue her masters in legal studies after graduation. She has been a peer advisor for nearly two years now. Her favorite part about peer advising is helping peers plan what classes to take while encouraging confidence in their course selections. When she is not reading for class or at work she enjoys ice-skating (she was a competitive figure skater for 8 years) and watching reruns of Gilmore Girls.
Elizabeth is a senior double majoring in sociology and psychology. In her spare time, she likes to find yummy food and spend time with her two cats. She is very interested in helping all students with their degree planning, but especially transfer students. She had to navigate this process and wants to be available to other students who need assistance figuring out what is needed to graduate.
This is Rachel’s first year as a peer advisor. She would like to have a career at a nonprofit organization that uses public policy to address social problems and inequality. She enjoys downhill skiing and corgis. As a peer advisor, she is most looking forward to talking to other students who are passionate about sociology and helping them achieve their goals.
